The Kögel Driver App is a stand-alone app that displays the vehicle data.
An internet connection via mobile radio or WLAN is required.
All displayed telematics data from the Truck and/or Trailer telematics modules or gateway hub components are sent directly from the Kögel Telematics Portal to the driver tablet.The target group is primarily the drivers who can have their vehicle data such as temperature, EBS data and air pressures displayed in the app.Optionally, a dispatcher can also display data of his vehicles with the Kögel Driver App on a tablet via an existing company WLAN.
The tablet used requires an Internet connection via an integrated SIM card in order to receive the data.
A WLAN connection is optional.A Kögel Telematics account is required for authentication, which is needed when logging in to the app.A direct connection via WLAN with, for example, a telematics unit of a truck or a telematics unit of a trailer is not required.
